WHAT IS PANHELLENIC?
The San Diego State University Panhellenic Council is a part of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), which is composed of 26 inter/national sororities and is the largest organization dedicated to promoting the sorority experience. Representing nearly 5 million collegiate and alumnae women, NPC works to advocate for and highlight the lifelong value of sorority membership.

At SDSU, our Panhellenic community reflects the values-based mission of NPC by engaging in service, leadership, and philanthropic initiatives that make a real impact. Our members dedicate thousands of hours each year to causes that matter—whether it’s supporting survivors of sexual assault, fostering inclusive and body-positive campus environments, or organizing programs that promote safety and well-being through bystander intervention.

In addition to local efforts, SDSU Panhellenic benefits from the broader support of NPC’s network of collegiate and alumnae associations across the country. These connections provide access to shared resources, educational programming, and best practices that help ensure our community continues to grow, evolve, and empower today’s collegiate women.

"On behalf of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and the Panhellenic Executive Board at San Diego State University, I am honored to welcome you to our community! The College Panhellenic Association serves as the governing body for NPC sororities on campus, overseeing some of the largest women’s student organizations at SDSU. Our Panhellenic community is made up of driven, passionate women who inspire one another to grow as leaders, scholars, and friends.
